Alessandra is an Animal Care Technician at East Orlando Animal Hospital. She plans on building her career in veterinary medicine and eventually becoming a veterinarian.

Alessandra joined East Orlando in September 2024, bringing her lifelong passion for animals to her work. Originally from Miami Beach, Florida, she moved to Orlando in August 2023. Alessandra has always had a heart for rescuing animals, often bringing home stray dogs, pigs, and birds. Her 10-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix, Lucy, adopted from the Humane Society, has been her loyal companion, and she’s currently in the process of adopting another dog from the same organization.
A sophomore at UCF, Alessandra is majoring in biology with a focus on zoology. She is dedicated to advancing her career in veterinary medicine, with plans to become a vet tech within the next 2-3 years and, eventually, a veterinarian.
Outside of her studies and work, Alessandra enjoys playing volleyball, taking walks, and relaxing by the pool. She has an older brother in New York and an older sister in Tampa, while her parents remain in Miami.
