Our Diagnostic Services
Accurate diagnosis is the key to an efficient treatment plan. Our Orlando in-house veterinary lab provides our team with the advanced diagnostic tools they need to give you the most accurate diagnosis of your pet's medical issues and provide pets with drug-free pain relief.
- Radiography (Digital X-Rays)
Using a radiograph (digital x-ray), we can examine your pet's internal systems to reveal information that may be hidden from the outside.
Radiography uses only very low doses of radiation making it safe, painless and non-invasive. Because the level of radiation exposure required to perform radiography is very low, even pregnant female pets and very young animals can undergo this procedure.
Radiographs can be used to evaluate bones and organs, and diagnose conditions including broken bones, chronic arthritis, spinal cord diseases, some tumors and bladder stones.
- Ultrasound
With ultrasound imaging, we expose part of the body to high-frequency sound waves in order to produce images of the inside of the body.
Since ultrasound images are captured in real-time, we can see the structure and movement of your pet's internal organs, as well as blood flowing through the blood vessels.
- Cold Laser
Cold laser is used as a drug-free therapeutic treatment for inflammation and pain in cats and dogs. Class IV cold laser therapy is non-surgical and can be performed in conjunction with other treatment options.
