Since opening in 1979, East Orlando Animal Hospital has provided a comprehensive range of veterinary care and luxury boarding to clients in Orlando, Florida and its surrounding communities.  Our team earned and has maintained AAHA accreditation since 1983 and currently consists of 4 full-time veterinarians with a variety of backgrounds including a board certified specialist in canine and feline practice!  Our philosophy is to always advocate for the highest level of care for our patients which is reflected in our commitment to AAHA Guidelines and accreditation standards. We have a strong team comprised of many pre-vet students and aim for a high support staff-to-doctor ratio, which will allow you to practice high-quality medicine without the stress of having to also perform tasks best left to other team members.

Our beautifully maintained 10,000 square foot facility consists of 8 exam rooms as well as an expansive treatment space and surgical suite. We practice high quality dentistry with a dedicated dental technician, performing dental radiographs with every cleaning. Our boarding facility consists of large runs, a spacious feline suite with soothing music-infused cat condos, and a 3-table grooming salon. Complete Idexx in-house lab equipment including Sedivue. We are an environmentally conscious, paper light practice whose clientele is culturally rich and diverse.

East Orlando is just minutes from world class restaurants, great schools, and parks that cater to an outdoor lifestyle. Theme parks and other attractions are just minutes away as are Florida's natural springs and world-famous beaches!

Position Overview:

The Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.

Essential Position Functions:

• Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations and interviews, reviewing care plans and records, completing laboratory tests and studies, and diagnostic imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, drugs, and vaccines, and bandaging and wrapping wounds.
• Support patient examinations and operations by assembling required supplies and instruments, securing and bringing patients to examination rooms, and restraining patients; aids as directed by the veterinarian.
• Provide excellent pet care by applying full knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology, specialized equipment usage, and specialized drug administration.
• Obtain and verify medications.
• Ensure that patients have food and water, clean patients' rooms, cages, and equipment; observe patients for clinical signs of disease.

• Maintain a safe, secure, healthy, and humane environment by sterilizing and wrapping instruments, sanitizing and disinfecting holding and operating areas, storing sterile supplies, verifying shelf life, following standards and procedures, and in compliance with applicable legal regulations.

East Orlando Animal Hospital is seeking full-time energetic, compassionate Client Service Representatives to provide excellent care and service to our pet parents. We are a friendly team focused on providing the high quality care expected from an AAHA accredited hospital.

Minimum 1 year experience in a veterinary client service setting required. Bilingual a plus, Impromed experience a plus!

Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.

Essential Functions:

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.

The ideal Groomer is not only a proficient pet stylist but also a pet enthusiast who excels at customer interactions. They should be organized and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate proficiency in various grooming tasks, including bathing, drying, ear cleaning, deep brushing, de-matting, breed-specific cuts, teeth brushing, and nail trimming.
• Manage pet intake, engage with clients during drop-off and pick-up, and effectively communicate with clients regarding any issues.
• Clearly explain the grooming process to clients and make service recommendations based on the pet's needs.
• Provide clients with cost estimates and timeframes for grooming services.
