Janet joined EOAH in October 2024, bringing a lifelong passion for animals and a strong foundation in medicine. Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, she moved to Orlando in 2021. Growing up surrounded by birds, a rabbit, and her two current dogs, Janet developed a deep care for animals' health from a young age. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Central Florida, focusing on pre-veterinary studies and zoology. With aspirations to attend vet school and earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Janet is determined to become a small animal veterinarian.

To gain hands-on experience, she is currently working as a veterinary assistant. Janet has four dogs, including Jacob, a 12-year-old Chihuahua, Hazel and Macho, American Staffordshire Pit Bull Terrier mixez, and Napo, an 11-year-old Chihuahua mix, with two of her dogs having been with her since childhood. Outside of work, Janet enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally, lifting weights, and volunteering with horses weekly.
