Sheyanne is an Animal Care Technician at East Orlando Animal Hospital.
Sheyanne
Shy joined EOAH in October 2024, bringing with her a lifelong passion for animals. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and later Kissimmee, Florida, Shy was deeply influenced by her grandmother in England, who adopted every stray cat she encountered and also kept birds. Shy often helped care for the cats, sparking her desire to help and save animals. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals, and today she is pursuing her goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Though she currently aspires to become a veterinary technician, her ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian, with a particular interest in performing surgeries.
Shy’s passion for veterinary medicine drives her to continue learning and growing, and she is excited to be working at East Orlando Animal Hospital to expand her knowledge and experience in the field. At home, Shy has a deep love for animals, having recently lost her Staffordshire terrier pit bull, Ziggy, who she adopted from a friend. Outside of work, Shy describes herself as "very boring," enjoying simple pleasures such as playing video games, cleaning, and spending quality time with her one-year-old son, Kai. She is also a proud fan of the Baltimore Ravens.
